As a Master Data Management (MDM) Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the management of master data across an organization. You will ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date, and that data governance practices are followed. You will work with cross-functional teams, including IT, business users, and other stakeholders, to develop and implement MDM strategies, policies, and procedures. You will also manage a team of MDM professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure successful execution of MDM initiatives.
· Develop and implement MDM strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the organization.
· Lead and manage MDM initiatives, including data cleansing, data quality assessment, data integration, and data governance.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data standards, data definitions, and data ownership.
· Develop and implement data governance processes, including data validation, data auditing, and data quality monitoring.
· Provide leadership and guidance to a team of MDM professionals, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
· Establish and maintain relationships with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements and ensure that data is available and accessible to support their operations and decision-making.
· Collaborate with IT teams to design, develop, and implement MDM solutions, tools, and technologies.
· Monitor and report on MDM metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of MDM initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
· Stay updated with industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in MDM and data management, and incorporate them into the organization's MDM strategy and practices.
· Provide guidance and support in resolving data-related issues and incidents, and ensure timely resolution and escalation as needed.
· Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in master data management, data governance, data quality, or related fields, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
· Strong understanding of data management concepts, principles, and best practices, including data modeling, data integration, data quality, and data governance.
· Experience with MDM technologies, tools, and solutions, such as MDM platforms, data profiling tools, and data quality tools.
· Experience in designing and implementing data governance processes, policies, and procedures.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team and manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, build relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
· Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, and ISO 8000, is a plus.
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
